Jenny and I moved to Australia 4 years ago and have spent most of that time slowly renovating our house in Floreat. So we know how difficult it is to find good people, who understand what it is that you want, and provide the quality of service you expect when it involves your home. This is especially so when it comes to those finishing touches, such as soft furnishings.

Anyone who has had to choose interior fabrics, such as curtains, will know how difficult it is to look around the various stores and try and remember what patterns and subtle shades of colour would match the decor of the room and give the desired effect. Clearly, the optimum would be to call in an interior designer, such as Heather Levi Interiors, and have them do all the work and come up with an acceptable design, assuming that the budget could stretch to that level of service. So we were more than pleasantly surprised when we found out that Heather Levi Interiors provided such a personalized service, but at a competitive price that we could afford.

However, the most important thing for Jenny and I was that having decided to spend our limited funds on making our home look nice, we needed to be sure that we got the right fabric, pattern and colour, and that is why we keep going back to Heather Levi. I would recommend to anyone who is building, renovating or upgrading their home, to bring Heather in from an early stage as she can help you with all stages of planning a home, from structural bones to the finest details.  Heather has a wide range of products, has great taste in decorating, is always friendly and allowed us to renovate and decorate at our own pace and in our own style.  Heather helped us with major renovation decisions involving our kitchen and dining room.  With Heather's advice, we decided where the kitchen was going to be built and which materials and colours to use, where to position lights and appliances, developing our style as we went - which turned out to be arty-modern-cottage.  When I asked for Heather's assistance to choose our dining chairs, Heather me at a wholesale furniture store and recommended that I sit on about 40 dining chairs, before finally choosing a favourite.  I wouldn't have known that sitting in every chair was so important to making the decision.  Some of my "first glance" favourites were soon rejected, based on comfort.  I am very pleased with the chairs we finally chose together.  Heather also assisted us with floor coverings, an outdoor blind for the front verandah and curtains and blinds for the bedrooms.  All of these products were of high quality style and material, professionally installed and still look good three years later.  Visitors always comment on the lino we chose for the kitchen, as it is so unique and attractive with no joins!
